Pamela Seager - Woman of Distinction

California State Assemblymember Patrick O'Donnell, representing the 70th Assembly District, presented awards to 18 "Women of Distinction" for individuals who have made a significant contribution in creative industries, business, community service, education, public safety and health services.

Pamela Seager was honored for the 30 years of exceptional service to the people and City of Long Beach through her work as the iconic Executive Director of Rancho Los Alamitos responsible for the growth and expansion of educational programming and the implementation of the Rancho's award-winning master plan. O'Donnell stated, "She has overseen the transformation of the Rancho from a quaint and neglected artifact to a world-class historic site. Because of her perseverance and commitment, Rancho Los Alamitos has become one of the cultural jewels of Long Beach and the region."
