Commercial Photography and Filming
Commercial, promotional, and professional photography and filming at Rancho Los Alamitos require advance approval. Availability is based on staff capacity and the Rancho’s programming calendar. All commercial shoots require a reservation, signed agreement, proof of insurance, permits, and applicable fees.

Photography for Personal Use
Rancho Los Alamitos is a beautiful and rare open space in Long Beach, making it a popular place for photography. To help protect this historic site and ensure a positive experience for all visitors, all photography, including prom, engagement, wedding, quinceañera, birthday, family portrait, and other special occasion sessions, requires an advance reservation through our online booking system.
Standard photography reservations are free of charge and allow visitors to take photos in the Rancho's outdoor public areas during regular public hours.

Photography is allowed in outdoor public areas only and must take place during public hours, Wednesday through Sunday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Last admission for photography is 4:00 PM.
Photography sessions outside of public hours or with more than 25 guests require advance coordination and will be subject to a site rental fee. Please contact Rancho Los Alamitos at [email protected] to inquire about availability and rental rates.
All photographers and guests must check in at the Rancho Center Visitor Desk upon arrival and follow all site guidelines outlined in our Photography Policy.

Optional Celebration Photography Packages
For guests who would like to enhance their visit, Rancho Los Alamitos offers optional celebration photography packages designed for occasions such as engagements, quinceañeras, weddings, anniversaries, and milestone birthdays.
These packages include light appetizers or platters for guests to enjoy during their photography session. Packages do not include reserved photography locations, and all photography must still follow Rancho guidelines and remain in public outdoor areas.

DRONES |
All drones (Unmanned Aerial Systems) are prohibited at Rancho Los Alamitos and any unauthorized drone(s) observed over the Rancho will be reported to the FAA and local law enforcement, regardless of its point of origin or operation. Drones may pose a potential safety risk and may violate Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.
